Sustainability and architecture are inextricably linked. The redesign of Designskolen Kolding by Cubo Arkitekter is based on sustainability, buildability and functionality. 

The architects worked according to the principle that the existing building should recycle itself: “If building elements can be reused, they should be used.” 

In this way, the authenticity of the redesigned building was emphasized - robust and “honest” through the distinctive main structure, which reflects the original dynamic industrial architecture as much as possible. 

Randi A/S, Member of ECO Schulte Group, has equipped the building with lever handles and our ECO Newton TS-62 door closers. This guarantees functional safety and maximum ease of access.
