The Danish architects Kjaer & Richter A/S have developed the Tietgenskolen education center in Odense, Denmark - DGNB Gold-certified according to current sustainability aspects.

The new education center combines the nursing school, the pedagogical seminar and other vocational training programs under one roof.

Randi A/S, Member of ECO Schulte Group, has equipped the building with lever handles and our ECO Newton TS-62 door closers. Our FTA ECO-Vent was also installed - the perfect and safe solution when escape route security needs to be combined with smoke/heat extraction (SHEV).

Functional safety and maximum ease of access are therefore guaranteed.

The new Tietgenskolen is a strong, sculptural icon. On the one hand, the building shows the strong and inspiring environment of the school to the outside, on the other hand it forms an organic volume around an inner, lively world of study and learning.

The organic “four-leaf clover” shape is connected by a dynamic inner atrium that provides an overview and access to all the school‘s functions.
