The FTA ECO-Vent fulfils 3 functions in one go
Door closer
In normal operation, it offers maximum access convenience – just like a normal door closer according to DIN SPEC 1104.
Panic door
The panic function remains fully intact. The interaction between the door closer and chain drive means the door can be mechanically accessed even in the event of an SHE alarm.
SHE opener
In case of smoke extraction, it reliably opens windows or skylights with the help of the retractable operator.
Smoke extraction concepts save lives
Smoke extraction concepts based on natural uplift principles require precisely coordinated opening of doors and windows – after all, this is the only way to ensure that poisonous gases escape from the building as quickly as possible.
Over a certain period, this produces stable, low-smoke air layers near the floor that allow people to escape by themselves.
Smoke extraction also makes the fire brigade’s job more efficient and prevents or at least delays the dreaded flash-over, in which pyrolysis gases can ignite suddenly.

ECOmount: The concealed assembly of the door closer and retractable arm drive saves time and money on installation.
ECOuniq: all components are positioned on one side. This means that door closers with FTA can be mounted on one level on the inside of the door only.
ECOvalve: All parameters of the closing process can be set easily, precisely and safely for the long term using a standard Allen key.
ECOcover: The entire component with door closer and FTA is covered by a stainless-steel cover
ECOupgrade: The product as a whole is easy to retrofit. Floor-mounted door closers or integrated door closers are not required.
ECOScrew: The Torx drive allows a higher torque than conventional cross-head and slotted-head screws. This not only minimises wear and the risk of slipping, but also reduces the risk of damage.
ECO2in1: When installed on emergency exit doors with SHE openings, the FTA ECO-Vent simultaneously fulfils the standards for an escape route, automatic opening and normal door functions as per DIN SPEC 1104.
Aumüller plug: This plug is compatible with all Aumüller products. It contains a strain relief system as per DIN EN 60335-1, is secure against being twisted, and features locking hooks to prevent the plug from being pulled out.
