Herzogenaurach is a city perhaps best known as the home of a number of well-known sports brands, and indeed it is here that the sporting goods manufacturer Puma chose to establish its new headquarters.
The task
The complex includes an administration centre, the world’s largest PUMA Factory Outlet Store and the architecturally impressive Brand Center, complete with multimedia hall and exhibition rooms. On the outside, the arch replicates the characteristic trademark, while on the inside it serves as a grandstand with rising rows of seats. The buildings are grouped in a U-shape around a structured inner courtyard.
