The five awards are more than just for prizes - they are proof of our constant striving for excellence and innovation.
We were also honoured with the TOP 100 Award 2024 for this.
This is confirmation: ECO Schulte is one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. This is not a miracle - but the result of our efforts throughout the entire company. The management has committed the ECO team to innovation and design and has already achieved these remarkable successes in the first few years of implementation.

This is what architects and planners have decided. In a nationwide survey of experts, they voted ECO Schulte as one of their favourite manufacturers.
ARCHITECTS’ DARLING
Silver - Category Security and Access Control
Architects and planners from all over Germany evaluated around 1,949 manufacturers and brands. ECO Schulte was awarded silver in the "Security and access control" category.

Four awards for MOOM / made out of mussels
Innovative material, sustainable concept
With MOOM, we are launching an innovative design campaign. We are venturing into the development of a sustainable material made from mussel shells and breaking completely new ground.

Finishing and Interiors category
The jury writes:
With Moom, ECO Schulte presents a door handle in a classic L-shape under the Randi brand. Around 90 % of the material used consists of crushed mussel shells, recycled plastic bottles and biomaterials. They give the handle a marbled look and a soft, satin finish. This material composition makes each lever handle unique.

Architecture + Construction Innovation Award from the trade journal AIT
MOOM prevailed against 136 innovations from 70 companies at BAU 2023. The architecture and design competition honours products and solutions that particularly meet the needs of architects. Not only was an aesthetic product honoured here - MOOM also fulfils the requirements that architects have in terms of sustainability.

Innovative Material 2023
MOOM realises the developers' claim: "We wanted to find a material that has never existed on the market for the production of door handles before." - Mussel shells absorb CO₂ and are a residual product of industrial food production. They are normally regarded as waste with no useful value. Plastic waste is also produced in large quantities - which is why it is important to recycle and reuse it.

Innovative Architecture 2023
The jury writes:
To present its innovative and sustainable composite material MOOM®, the Danish architecture firm Hammer chose one of the most commonplace objects in architecture: the door handle. A clever move, as the new development made from mussel shells, upcycled PET and biomaterial can be experienced both visually and tactilely. In a house, the door handle immediately communicates that the building is climate-conscious.

An award for free swing door closer FTS III
We combine the best and the most important aspects of the door: easy access for people and safety in hazardous situations. The newly developed FTS III fits perfectly into our overall system - technically, visually and functionally.

Innovative Interior 2023
The jury writes:
The award honours relevant contemporary developments and special design achievements. Both apply to the FTS III: in addition to its functional qualities for greater accessibility and safety, the FTS III impresses with its simple design in a harmonious cut.
